Ok so I'm too old too but young at heart! Chocolate does that to you. LOL. Have to look up google lerts tho.

Wow, Doug and Duke, do I hear a bit of defeatism in your email exchanges ? :) OK...so I'm too old to be here as well. I'm probably old enough to be both your mothers. There's something to think about!

But what I really wanted to say is that we all belong here, because the mission of the group is to encourage others to build their businesses based on sound strategies..and who better to do that than us old grizzled folk?

So, unless you kick me out, I'm staying.

And Duke, yes I do use Google alerts and find them very helpful. I've set my alerts up with my own name (of course), the names of some top copywriters I want to follow, the names of some competitors, and a few industry keywords that do a great job of keeping me in touch with the very latest topical conversations.

By the way, it's especially impressive when you can write to a colleague or mentor and say, "I read your post (article, press release, etc.) about xxx.I'd like to ask you about that. What do you think xxxxx". The common response is, "Wow! I just posted that a few minutes ago!"

I knew you were being funny, but I figured I would leave a response in case other people had the same question.

And the answer is, yes, you and I are too old for this group. :)
